About the Role

VanGATE is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to Join Our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop custom doors, gates, automation systems, and access solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Working closely with our manufacturing and installation teams, you will help transform innovative concepts into high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom mechanical systems using CAD software.
• Prepare engineering drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
• Create bills of materials(BOMs) and production drawings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, installation, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product improvements.
• Ensure design meet applicable codes, safety standards, and customer requirements.
• Assist with technical problem-solving during production and installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in manufacturing, automation, or product design is considered an asset.
